The outlines you can see on the sat pic don't look much like the outlines on the OS map but there's obviously been something there and it must have been the inn. One thing I didn't mention in the post is I've no idea what the present building was. Could this be the old Fain Inn. Surely it is too much to be a coincidence. It is much larger than the current building.
